Open Letter from Jazella Moore & Scott Janke

Anabela Janke, aka Jazella Moore, and her terminated town manager husband Scott Janke have issued this statement following her appearance as a feature dancer at Club Escapades in Fort Myers, Florida:
Dear Editor:
Anabela and I want to share our thoughts about our first visit back to Fort Myers and the Club Escapades. Foremost, we came away from the experience with a great sense of gratitude and respect for the young women who work there. Jazella was anxious about performing until the girls rescued her with support and invitations to be part of their family at the club. Some even shared their tips from their own garters.
The press conference, however, wasn’t as much fun. With multiple requests for media interviews we decided one press conference would fulfill all the demands. It did, but of course then it was reported we were seeking publicity by staging the availability. The truth is, the media’s presence kept more people away and heightened Jazella’s anxiety.
But thanks to the dancers and staff at Club Escapades, Anabela could relax. Some of the dancers are single mothers, some are students paying for their education, some are caring for family members, but all are hard working valuable members of society. And they showed Anabela unconditional support and respect. They touched our hearts.
We also want to thank all the upstanding and respected individuals who stopped by the club to share their support. This really wasn’t about dancing in the end, it was a chance to say hello to new friends and supporters.
Anabela and Scott Janke
