(DEVORE, CA) -- Freedom Acres Resort, the landed addition to the longtime Freedom Acres swing club, is inviting Adult Industry professionals to stop in and visit during its Adult Industry Open House from January 17-20.
"We welcome the Adult Industry to visit and see what we have to offer your production," says Jeff James, a retired adult performer who is now Events Coordinator at Freedom Acres Resort. "We're right on the I-15 where it makes its turn north to Vegas, so it's convenient for people driving to Adult Expo. Come on by, have a cup of coffee and a snack, see our facilities. No cost, no obligation. Just say hi and check us out. The property is rustic and we’re kind of rough around the edges, but we're awesome."
Freedom Acres hosted its first adult-video production during the summer: The latest edition of the "Swingers Wife Swap" series created by director Luc Wylder for Adam & Eve Productions/Fallen Angel.
"The Freedom Acres swing club welcomed our adult production with open arms," Wylder reported. "There were great locations for our individual sex scenes. We shot outdoors, we shot indoors at the bondage dungeon. The staff and owners could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the people could not have been more accommodating. We love Freedom Acres. My entire cast and crew stayed on premise with individual cabins for 14 people. The homemade gourmet Thai food was delicious; the specially decorated swing club made a spectacular backdrop for our amazing orgy, and a great time was had by all. We would certainly go back…"
Freedom Acres Resort has a long history as a mainstream nudist park stretching back to the 1930s when the Oakdale Guest Ranch was established on the site. In the '60s it was the home of nude beauty pageants, a tradition that continued into the '70s after the park was sold and renamed Treehouse Fun Ranch. In the '80s it became Deer Park Nudist Resort and with the recent change in ownership it has transitioned into an adults-only swing environment.
Facilities available at Freedom Acres Resort include an Olympic size pool with pool deck and pavilion, a hot tub that seats eight, and rustic cabin accommodations as well as campsites and hookups for RVs. The 44-acre Resort property also has a restaurant building with full kitchen, a pool room and adjacent steam room, hot tub, shower room, sauna and locker room with large make-up area. The nearby Freedom Acres Club offers themed rooms including a Bar, Dungeon, Orgy Room and Disco and also has a full restaurant kitchen that can be used for as a shooting location or for preparing food for craft table and crew meals.
"We invite Adult Industry professionals to drop by and take a look on your way to Vegas," James says. "The environment is conducive to adult production. If you want to shoot a scene in front of the windows, you can do that and not worry about police driving by. When the talent is done shooting, they can walk outside naked. If they want to have friendly sex on the corner, they can. If they want to socialize with our members, they can. You can do anything you want here without worrying about police interference, without worrying about helicopters spotting you shooting, without worrying about fire marshals. The people here are all sex-positive, and they can be extras if you need extras -- or make themselves scarce if they don't want to be photographed."
"Come on by and have a cup of coffee. Performers, production people, actors, camera operators. We're pouring our hearts into this. This is something that we believe in, and we'd like the adult industry to be a part of it. We give a safe place to shoot and a safe place to hang out."
Freedom Acres Resort is located at 1924 Glen Helen Road in Devore. Adult industry professionals are encouraged to come by any time January 17-20. Park at the gate, walk to the office, and ask for Jeff James. If the office is closed, call his cell at 951 275 3610.
"Come by and check us out," James said. "Spend 20 minutes with us and see what we have to offer."
